    This international marathon saw Europe's elite on the shores of Great Britain for the first time since the European Championships at Southampton in 1980. It also encompassed the senior British Marathon Championships won by Adrian Wordsworth and Sarra Dally. Look out for Peggy Davis taking her first title in the Masters Ladies and a cameo appearance by British Skating Legend John Folley who stood on the start line for the first time in over 25 years.

Martin Escobar was a powerhouse in the 10km points, the relay was probably the race of the decade and of course, a young Chad Hedrick takes his first of a record 50 gold medals in the 1500 metres.

    The road events from the 1994 World Championships in Gujan Mestras. Watch Tony Muse break the 300 metres World Record and Dante Muse make an almost unbelievable move on Arnaud Gicquel at the finish of the 20km elimination. Whilst Muse didn't win, his move resulted in a rule change regarding the foot needs to be on the floor when you finishing position/time is worked out.
