hyah snail, read about your interest in quad skates ,i skated in the sixties mainly and never knew anything else, have put an article on the forum about quad skates, inline skates are very efficient but to me its like watching a motor race and not hearing the engines, not very atmospheric, i skated indoor and its my opinion that inlines as fast as they are would not have negotiated the tight corners of the indoor tracks, also we did not wear any protective padding whatsoever, its like comparing american football with rugby league, old fashioned ,yes, but i raced the old way and it was great fun, cheers Roy
