Hi Ron
Are you out in Australia hiding or were you transported for sheep stealing? of course I know you but iI only remember you from NLRSC along with the Davis of course and George Livermore and Derek Blake who was at Europeans at Inzell in 1967 with John Foley and Bill Sharman and me.
As you can see i moved out of London a long time ago and have lived in Midlands for the last 45 years.
I go to the skating at Birmingham occassionaly but it is not the same, racing on In Lines and not enough racers and there is no social side.
Met up with Les Woodley, Danny Kelly, Leo and Pat Eason(both not doing very well physically) John Toy, John Fry, John Toy and Pat Barnett and Chloe Ronaldson and Bob Halford(since died at 94) came up for a meeting last September.
I still see John Foley occassionally when i am down in Sussex at my daughters house and Roy Lawrence lives there as well.
I watched the world champs from Ostend on the Internet and while the track looked great the racing was boring because of the points system and the elimination racing. no real racing tactaics you just have to go fast at the front aand score points, but only the first 2. Its not the fun we used to have.
