Hi John, hope alls well with you, just interested to know if you ever managed to get some photos fropm Bryan watchman as he must have loads, spoke to Pete Howe and he told me that they shared a flat together for awhile, I'm also curious to know if you ever spoke to Leo Eason about the televised training session at the embassy , Leo was interviewed on it, the other person that was there was John Toy as i remember him telling me that he tripped over the mains plug and they had to re run, i know that it all happened because Cliff Stafford told me all about it at the time, i did'nt go because i was camera shy in those days. cheers R

HI John ,don't know if you ever met Den and Clffs father , he was called Wal ,don't if Chris ever knew him but he was a real character and always reminds me of greengrass from heartbeat ,if you want me to send you some memories about him and his shop on the fosse road LEICS,you might find it of interest as it involves people like Maureen Jackson, myself, my brother who used to work with Den would have to be a private message though, not really one for the site , if you are interested let me have your current email addy as it might have changed since the last time we had contact,

Hi John where can i find the stats for the Midland counties from 1950 i know that the midland and northern counties amalgamated in the late fifties but it was the same race as far as I'm concerned, i watched many of these events at the Granby halls starting in the early fifties hence my interest, hope that you enjoyed China?
cheers Roy
